Tourist Spot: Driftveil City

• Driftveil City (Japanese: ホドモエシティ Hodomoe City) is a major ocean port city in western Unova. It has strong wind currents popular with sailboaters. More importantly, its ports are used by freighters and fishing boats that import and export goods such as vegetables in and out of Unova.
• It has a large market that has many useful items. The Cold Storage is to the south of this City. There are two possible exits from this city; Route 6 to the west and the Driftveil Drawbridge to the east which leads to Unova's central peninsula..
• Charles can be found here. In the games, he teaches the player about Rotation^{Wrong template. See Template:Sup/doc.} and Triple Battles^{Wrong template. See Template:Sup/doc.}. There is also a trade that can be made, the player can trade a Minccino for a Red-Striped^{Wrong template. See Template:Sup/doc.}/Blue-Striped^{Wrong template. See Template:Sup/doc.} Basculin.
• The Driftveil Gym is located here. The Gym Leader is Clay who gives out the Quake Badge to trainers who defeat him.
• Driftveil City made its anime debut in The Mighty Accelguard to the Rescue! where Ash and his friends met Charles and his Accelgor. Ash attempted to challenge the Gym Leader, Clay, in Stopping the Rage of Legends! (Part 1) but was denied unless he did him a favor. Ash finally battled Clay in Battling the King of the Mines!! where Clay proved to be a tough opponent.
• In Black 2 and White 2, several strange craters have appeared throughout the city.
