Rescue Team Base is a place in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team that can be used to save the game progress. Leader of the rescue team stays at this place. Rescue Team can also mail from mailbox in front of Rescue Team Base.
Location
Rescue Team Base is located at west of Pokémon Square. To the east is shortcuts of Friend Areas. To the west is shortcuts of Dungeons.
History of Rescue Team Base
- After successfully rescuing Caterpie from Tiny Woods, the partner bring the player to a cottage. The player is a human being, but the player likes that cottage. It might be an instinct thing for Pokémon. They decide to make the cottage as a Rescue Team Base. The player lives there.
- Wynaut and Wobbuffet ask the player to go defeat the Mankey gang in the Uproar Forest. In return, they offer a peeled Chestnut, which is in turn used to convince the Mankey gang to help renovate the Rescue Team Base. Now The Rescue Team will look like the player.
Rescue Team’s Flag
Outside Rescue Team Base, there is a Rescue Team’s flag. After receiving access to the friend area Sky Blue Plains from an optional mission, the notice board may include a mission to rescue Smeargle. Accepting the mission will unlock Howling Forest. After completing the dungeon for the first time, Smeargle will join the rescue team for free. Smeargle can change the team flag’s design as player wish.
Figurines
After doing certain things, the Rescue Team may obtain figurines. These figurines will be placed Outside Rescue Team Base. Here is list of the figurines and methods to obtain them:
- Bonsly figurine: defeat all 21 maze at the Makuhita Dojo
- Mime Jr. figurine: do a mission which rewards is Mime Jr. figurine
- Lucario figurine: reach Lucario Rank as a high-ranking rescue team
- Weavile figurine: do a mission which rewards is Weavile figurine
