Rest?

What happens when a Pokémon with Vital Spirit or Insomnia uses Rest? All Pokémon with these two abilities can learn Rest, so what happens?

I think Rest will fail, I've never actually tried it... Tesh 11:23, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
I've tried, and Rest will automatically fail. Doesn't make sense, actually; why let them learn the move if they can't use it in the first place? Diachronos 17:24, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
It's similar to Mew learning Attract or something of that sort. It'll fail. ht14 17:26, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
