Mewtwo or Pichu
Unlocking Lucario
I don't think it's necessary to mention Mewtwo's or Pichu's fate yet.  No matter how well foundated, it's just an assumption as of January 21st.  --Johans 19:06, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Ha? Of course Mewtwo is coming back and Pichu is not. But we need proth. Cerberus 19:21, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
::What? No, Lucario IS this generations Mewtwo....Mewtwo's not coming back....and Pokémon Trainer replaced Pichu. Why don't we move this to forums???? 19:51, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
:::Given the nature of the leak, that looks to be the final Pokémon lineup.  Besides which, Serebii already said that Lucario replaces Mewtwo and he just confirmed on his site today that he does have insider information on the game. --FabuVinny T-C-S 21:10, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
::::Okay, I guess I'll believe Serebii.  I just think that part needs a better wording anyway, possibly by not mentioning Mewtwo or Pichu.  If some administrator can edit it, it would be nice.  It's good that the article is locked BTW. --Johans 21:26, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Make up you're mind weather of not Serebii is reliable or not. We can't jump to conclusions. Cerberus 21:23, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
:If anything, Mewtwo and Pichu are unconfirmed for being playable or not. Ness is in Brawl, and Lucas takes most, if not all, of his powers. Wait it out. We will see! 22:38, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

What dos ness have to do with this? Also maybe that was story mode and Mewtwo is doing somthing else at the time. Cerberus 23:30, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
:Everyone figured that Ness would be out because Lucas was in. Same difference with Mewtwo and Lucario. 23:32, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

I think we should ice this for now. Just see what happens. Cerberus 23:37, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
:I took the mention of Pichu and Mewtwo out of the article.  Mewtwo and Pichu are really unlikely to return but we can wait until the final rosta is confirmed to actually say that on the article. --FabuVinny T-C-S 16:48, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Manaphy
This is great. How come Manphy is not on the page? Cerberus 11:34, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Pokemon voices
I'm thinking this statement However, the Pokémon no longer speak in their anime voices, but instead cry out their sound effect voices from the videogames. should not be here. Pokemon still have their anime voices, and heck, the Pokeball has the anime sound effect for the first time. Goldchaos 21:17, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

:What? Cerberus 21:39, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
::Apparently, the Pokémon no longer have their anime voices (what the article says), and GC is saying otherwise. I'm trying to look for videos on this, but everyone I find has only still pictures. // <span style="color:#00A550">Szayel</span><span style="color:#C0C0C0">Aporro</span><span style="color:#FF69B4">Granz</span> 21:52, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

That statement has to be wrong anyway, since Pikachu still goes "Pika pika pika" and such.  Why would Pikachu gets its anime voice and none of the other Pokemon?  As for videos, this one here: It has Achamo and Pochama saying their names. :Well, playable characters are more important than items, but that video and the Jigglypuff/Lucario commercial confirm that Piplup at least has its anime voice. --FabuVinny T-C-S 17:44, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

In brawl centeral, there is a video near the bottom which shows king dedede vs. Ike. ABout 35 seconds in, chickorita appers from a pokeball and clearly yells "chicka" instead of "erun". Thanks, Uses Wikipedia Alot 16:49, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok, at Whobby 2008 Eevee was seen coming out of a Poké Ball right, then it would evolve into 1 of its 7 forms and use an attack. So the main Poké Ball Pokémon is Eevee which evolves into either Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon or Glaceon. Ok? Something minor, but on the list of Poké Ball Pokémon, Eevee is marked with four asterisks (****), but there's no explaination as to what this is supposed to mean. There have been times when it looks like it's not going to explode but then does it anyway. Did anyone actually get an Electrode that didn't explode? If not, I think we should change what this says. Not sure what the policy is regarding adding this stuff to the article yet, but I thought I'd put it here for all to see: according to this screencap, Spear Pillar is a stage in the game. ==Jirachi==
On the Jirachi description it says it drops "some stickers" while in my game it always drops 7 stickers. I've gotten Jirachi twice so it may have just been luck. It also could have been a reference to Jirachi Wish Maker because there are seven days that it is awake. Also Celebi has dropped 5 trophies every time I got it. I have gotten it 3 times. I was on youtube and I found this video about Classic mode. After you complete it, there are the credits.  As it goes on it shows who did the voices of the Pokémon. Then when looking at the faces of the Pokémon you can see Jirachi's face.See here for yourself. Its face is next to deoxys's.
:Yeah, Jirachi appears to be a Poké Ball Pokémon. Inbetween 3:25 to 3:35 the character opens a random box (how do I know what they're called?) and a trophy falls out. The trophy appears to be Jirachi in its D/P sprite from. This question came to mind when I was reading a Nintendo Power interview with someone who worked on the game. Unlocking Lucario

Actually, in the Subspace Emissary, you need to use Meta Knight and defeat him to unlock Lucario. Simply meeting him won't do. ShinyRayquaza 19:04, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Shouldn't there be a list of every Character rather then just the Pokémon characters?--MysteryHeff? TALK 08:19, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

No, since we're only focusing on the Pokémon aspect. Anyone can simply go to Wiki to find the rest. ht14 20:02, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Project Crossovers

Maybe we should add Super Smash Bros. characters to Bulbapedia. I know it may seem out of place for characters such as Mario, Samus Aran, Solid Snake, and Sonic the Hedgehog to have their own page on Bulbapedia but the other wikis have crossover characters. Those characters have interacted with Pokémon characters, making them somewhat involved in the Pokémon universe. Maybe I'll start Project Crossovers, a Bulbapedia Project about crossovers. SeanWheeler 13:52, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

Samus, Mario, Link etc.. have their own wiki's and articles. We're a wiki for Pokémon. This game (probably) is a part of Project games.--ForceFire 14:26, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Bulbapedia:Notability requirements Smash Bros. isn't the Pokémon universe - it's a mish-mash of all Nintendo franchises. That means we cover the Pokémon aspects of the series but not the series as a whole. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 15:46, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Not just that, but we may be setting up an all-Nintendo wiki soon enough, in collaboration with the other four NIWA wikis. TTEchidna 06:54, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Why link to Super Mario Wiki?

Many of the characters links to Super Mario Wiki? That wiki is for stuff relating to the Mario series. If the NIWA doesn't have that franchise, just link it to Wikia. Sonic should link to Sonic News Network. SeanWheeler 19:31, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Because it's the only page in NIWA about them. Face it, we're not going to link to Wikia. CuboneKing 19:32, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Why not? What's wrong with Wikia? SeanWheeler 19:56, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Surely you remember Talk:Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance#Wikitroid, right? That and Wikia is the biggest grammar fail I have ever seen. Minus my own Wikias, however. CuboneKing 20:01, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Title Mismatch

Bulbapedia says that the Japanese meaning of their title is Great Fray Smash bros X or something. SSB Wiki states it as Dariontou Smash Bros x or along those lines. Who's correct? Pikabuddy II 05:10, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

Says this down in their notes: Dairantou = Great Fray. The Smash wiki just didn't translate it in the title like we did. So we're both right. --ケンジガール 05:15, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

New SSB Game

It might be a little too early to ask, but should we create a new article about the next Super Smash Bros. Game? This question came to mind when I was reading a Nintendo Power interview with someone who worked on the game. If anything is known about it, we probably should feature an article on it, since I think it's safe to say that Pokemon will be featured in this game, since it has been featured in every SSB game so far. I'd say it's far too early right now, given that the games don't even have a title yet. - Blazios talk 20:16, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
Okay, I'll keep an eye on the Smash Bros. Wiki and if they come up with anything notable about the game, such as it's name, I'll mention it. (Charizard101 (talk) 20:24, 30 September 2012 (UTC))
