Looking at the trivia, there's one that notes that Sentret's sprite is lighter-colored in the Hoenn, Kanto, and Sinnoh-based games than it is in either Generation II or HG/SS. Is it possible that this decision could be a deliberate one on the part of the creators to indicate that Sentret is non-native to those areas? Since it's caught in the Sevii Islands in FR/LG and traded to R/S/E, or caught with Poké Radar in D/P/Pt, it would make a lot of sense. The anime has already set the precedent for Pokémon having color variations when they are seen in different areas. It's just something I noticed, but I didn't want to add it to the trivia without discussing it first. I noticed the article "It also shares traits with flying squirrels, sugar gliders, and raccoons", and Emolga is also based on a flying squirrel. Sprite Colors

Flying squirrel? Emolga?
Is Sentret also shares the traits with Emolga? I noticed the article "It also shares traits with flying squirrels, sugar gliders, and raccoons", and Emolga is also based on a flying squirrel.
