Artwork

I noticed the character artwork on Juliana's page is using the Violet artwork (Uva Academy Uniform) as the default and Scarlet (Naranja Academy Uniform) as "Alternate artwork". Given that the official Pokémon Scarlet and Violet website uses the Scarlet version Juliana and Violet version Florian artwork on the characters page, I suggest we do the same. The majority of trailers on the Official Pokémon YouTube channel use Scarlet version Juliana and Violet version Florian. Most promotional artwork follows this pattern as well. Does anyone have any thoughts on this suggested edit? Nyahoja (talk) 20:24, 8 November 2022 (UTC)

Liko and other player counterparts

I understand why Liko wouldn't be considered Juliana's anime counterpart, but out of curiosity, why? Aside from appearances, both of their hometown is Cabo Poco, and Liko's mom, Lucca, looks to be based on the player's character mom from Scarlet & Violet. Haruka (CCP) is considered May's counterpart, but she doesn't look like her at all. As far as I know, Haruka has almost no relation to May besides sharing the same Japanese name. Akira (Horizon) and Mana are considered Elio's and Selene's counterparts, but they don't look anything like them at all. They both however share the same backstory as the player character, as they both moved from Kanto to Alola. Akira does the Island challenge, while Mana owns an Alola starter, something that the player would do in the games. Is Liko not considered Juliana's counterpart because she simply doesn't share the same backstory as the player, like recently moving to Paldea with her mom? Would something as simple as Nemona being Liko's neighbor be enough for her to be reconsidered as Juliana's counterpart? Would Liko need to do something more story-centric, such as challenging the Paldea Gyms, battling the Titan Pokémon, or defeating Team Star to be seen as Juliana's counterpart? After the Rain With You

Let's begin with the fact that the protagonist of "After the Rain With You" (which is a web novel with some illustrations, not a manga) is named Anna, not Aoi. Secondly, should we even treat her as a Juliana counterpart? I have my doubts whether she's supposed to be one. --Maxim (talk) 17:25, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

  • Firstly, the web novel is being released as a physical product, and is drawn/authored by a mangaka. Secondly, they are patently the same character, the final battle is described to be identical to the one which happens in the story against Nemona, right down to all the characters that spectate the fight. Feel free to refer to her as a counterpart on their pages.--Lewtwo (talk) 17:29, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
    • I can see your point but still, a full translation would be useful to get the full picture. Hopefully we get it (officially or, most likely, unofficially) soon enough. And after we get it, I think a separate article for Anna would be useful. This is what we usually do for main character counterparts. After all, we even have a whole separate article about Ash's appearance in an art gallery ad. --Maxim (talk) 11:33, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
