Release information

This disk was awarded as a prize at the Gather! Battle Tournament event held at the 46th Next Generation World Hobby Fair, which took place at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on June 24 and 25, 2017. Entrants were challenged to defeat Battle Leader Sodan and his team of 2 Pokémon, comprising Silvally in one of three possible forms and Necrozma. Those who successfully defeated both Silvally and Necrozma could select to dispense a "WINNER" version of either this disk or a Necrozma disk following the battle. Entrants who were not successful were awarded a non-winner version of either this disk or the Necrozma disk at random. This event also allowed players to experience the new features of the upcoming Ga-Olé Dash series for the first time.

More Gather! Battle Tournament events were held at any participating store with a Pokémon Ga-Olé arcade machine between August 19 and September 3, 2017. The format was the same as the summer 2017 World Hobby Fair events: entrants who successfully defeated both Silvally and Necrozma could choose to dispense a "WINNER" version of either this disk or the Necrozma disk. Entrants who were not successful were awarded a non-winner version of either this disk or the Necrozma disk at random. The disks awarded at these events are colored grey instead of purple. All participants were given a Ga-Olé Pass sticker featuring Ho-Oh and Pikachu. Players achieving the top score at each event were also awarded a certificate featuring Silvally and Necrozma.

A Gather! Battle Tournament event that awarded the purple disk variants was held at The 3rd Planet Yokohama arcade on September 30, 2017. Players achieving the 5 highest scores at this event were awarded a different certificate featuring Solgaleo and Lunala. A Gather! Battle Tournament event that awarded the grey disk variants and Silvally/Necrozma winner certificate was held as part of the Shōwa Autumn Festival at several locations in Gunma Prefecture on October 1, 2017.
