Saffron City

Saffron City lies between Celadon City, Vermillion City, Lavender Town, and Cerulean City. The gym leader, Sabrina, uses Psychic (Type) Pokemon, and awards the Marsh Badge. There is also a secondary gym, the Fighting Dojo, which has fighting type Pokemon, and is where you get Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee in Generation I.

Saffron's motto is "Shining, Golden Land of Commerce".
