Rizzo (Japanese: リンゾー Rinzō) is a character of the day who appeared in Guarding the Guardian of the Mountain!. He is a Pokémon hunter who wanted to capture a Volcarona.
Brycen, Ash, and his friends attempted to interfere with his mission, but Rizzo didn't care and still went after Volcarona. He had a battle with Ash, the outcome of which would determine Volcarona's freedom. Ash sent out Krokorok, which faced off against Rizzo's male Jellicent. Krokorok was able to outmatch him, but Rizzo sent out his female Jellicent. Both of the Jellicent's combined Hydro Pumps sent Krokorok flying into Rizzo's cage, which left Rizzo excited as he now had two Pokémon.
