Rizzo

Rizzo (Japanese: リンゾー Rinzō) is a character of the day who appeared in Guarding the Guardian of the Mountain!. He is a Pokémon hunter who wanted to capture a Volcarona.

Brycen, Ash, and his friends attempted to interfere with his mission, but Rizzo didn't care and still went after Volcarona. He had a battle with Ash, the outcome of which would determine Volcarona's freedom. Ash sent out Krokorok, which faced off against Rizzo's male Jellicent. Krokorok was able to outmatch him, but Rizzo sent out his female Jellicent. Both of the Jellicent's combined Hydro Pumps sent Krokorok flying into Rizzo's cage, which left Rizzo excited as he now had two Pokémon.

Brycen immediately took Ash's place and battled the poacher with his Beartic. With its skills and training, Beartic was able to defeat the Jellicent, which sent them and Rizzo flying into the cage while Krokorok and Volcarona were freed. Afterwards, he was arrested by Officer Jenny, who thanked Brycen for stopping Rizzo.
