Pokémon Square is the central village in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. It is populated soley by Pokémon, like the rest of the world presented in the game and anime special.

Rescue Team Base

A base that is suited for the type of the main character. The game is saved here.

Kecleon Shop (カクレオンのおみせ)

Run by Kecleon (younger; Kecleon Shop; カクレオンしょうてん) and Kecleon (older; Kecleon Wares; カクレオンせんもんてん) . This shop sells various items, TMs, food, and Orbs. Items can also be sold here.

Felicity Bank (ペルシアンぎんこう)

Run by Persian, this bank allows the player to store money so it will not be lost if the party is defeated in a dungeon.

Wigglytuff Club (プクリンのともだちサークル)

Run by Wigglytuff, who will sell the player access to Friend Areas so that wild Pokémon can be recruited into the party.

Kangaskhan Storage (ガルーラおばちゃんのそうこ)

Run by ** Kangaskhan (ガルーラおばちゃん Garura-obachan, "Aunt Kangaskhan"), this bank allows the player to store items so they will not be lost if the party is defeated in a dungeon.

Gulpin Link Shop (ゴクリンのれんけつてん)

Run by Gulpin, this shop allows the player to set moves, link them for combos, or remember forgotten techniques.

Makuhita Dojo (マクノシタくんれんじょ)

Run by Makuhita, this shop generates mini-dungeons of Pokémon of the same type so the player can level up.

Whiscash Pond (ナマズンのいけ)

Pelipper Post Office

The player can send SOS mail, lend a Pokémon to a friend, send A-OK Mail and Thank-You-Mail that allows two players to link together their games by exchanging codes. In addition, the bulletin board in front of the post office contains want ads for rescue missions.
