Release information
This card was included in the Japanese Gold, Silver, to a New World... expansion with artwork by Tomokazu Komiya. It was later included in the English Neo Genesis expansion with new artwork by the same artist. The illustration of the Japanese print depicts a Sentret suckling on a cow's udder, and was changed in the English print as it was seen as potentially inappropriate for the TCG's young audience. The Neo Genesis print was reprinted in the Japanese Pokémon VS expansion. It was reprinted again in the Expedition Base Set, first released in the Japanese Pokémon-e Starter Deck.
Moomoo Milk was later included in the HeartGold & SoulSilver expansion with new artwork by Noriko Hotta, first released in the Japanese SoulSilver Collection. It was reprinted once again in the Japanese Steelix Constructed Standard Deck. It was then reprinted in the Raichu Half Deck of the HS Trainer Kit.
Moomoo Milk was reclassified in Japan as an Item card during the HeartGold & SoulSilver Era, though the English Trainer cards did not adopt this naming convention until after this card's latest print.
Due to the fact that this card's HeartGold & SoulSilver print's name and effect slightly differ from the original, it was ruled that "Moo-Moo Milk" and "Moomoo Milk" were not the same card in the English-language printings. A similar situation exists surrounding Energy Charge and Power Charge.

Trivia
The original print spells the item's name with a hyphen. In the Pokémon games, it is spelled as "Moomoo Milk" (previously "MooMoo Milk") without a hyphen.
Origin
Moomoo Milk is a nutritious drink in the Pokémon games that can restore 100 HP to the Pokémon it is fed to.
