Medium (Japanese: イタコ Medium) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in Generation II games. They are depicted as old women with little ghosts flying around them. In the Japanese version, they are also shown carrying Buddhist prayer beads, which were removed in the Western versions due to Nintendo's policy on religious references.
They specialize in Ghost and Template:Type2 Pokémon.
