Liquid Ooze (Japanese: ヘドロえき Oozing Liquid) is an ability introduced in Generation III that mandates HP draining causes injury. In effect, if the user's HP is drained by a move like Leech Life or Giga Drain, the amount of HP that should be recovered by the move's user will in fact be dealt as damage. However, the Pokémon with Liquid Ooze will still be damaged. Four Pokémon have this ability, all of the Template:Poison type.
