Pokémon Horizons Clash with the Black Rayquaza is a special manga released in Corocoro magazine to promote the third arc of Pokémon Horizons: The Series, it tells a brief summary of episodes HZ044 and HZ045.
Differences to the anime
- Lucius appears in a flashback based on his appearance in Fiery Galarian Moltres, marking his first appearance outside of the anime.
- Gibeon and the other Explorers, with the exception of Amethio, were absent from the main story.
