Courtney (Japanese: ヒロコ Hiroko) is the first Grand Master. She plays using the Legendary Moltres Deck (Japanese: でんせつのファイアーデッキ Legendary Fire Deck). In Pokémon Card GB 2, she uses the グランドファイヤーデッキ Grand Fire Deck.

Courtney is the first of the 4 Grand Masters, that is available to battle after you obtained all eight Club Medals.

In Pokémon Card GB2
Since the start of the game, Courtney was kidnapped by Great Rocket and held imprisoned in the Fire Fort. When being freed by the main player after defeating *name of opponent to be defeated*, she will give you an Arcanine.
Later on, you are required to fight her in the Pokémon Dome to obtain one of the Legendary card - Moltres.
