Experience Mega Evolution! (Japanese: メガシンカをたいけんせよ!) is the second The Pokémon Tretta series set, and the tenth overall. It features 48 Tretta.
Information
As its name suggests, Experience Mega Evolution! introduces the Mega Evolution mechanic to Pokémon Tretta, and features the first physical change in Tretta tile appearance. Tretta now come in two designs: one with a Poké Ball in the bottom left, and one with a Mega Evolution symbol. Tretta with the Mega Evolution symbol indicate that the Pokémon depicted on it are able to Mega Evolve. These are also reflected in the illustration behind Pokémon on each Tretta. Details on the Mega Evolution mechanic itself are detailed in the main article. Experience Mega Evolution! includes two Pokémon that can Mega Evolve: Charizard (into Mega Charizard Y) and Mewtwo (into Mega Mewtwo X).
All standard Tretta are red in this set, with the Destruction Pokémon Yveltal appearing as the Legend-class Tretta, and the Egg Pokémon Chansey as the Secret Tretta. The Search Mode locations in this set are from Wonder Park, and have a rainy season theme. Search Mode itself is slightly expanded in this set. After selecting the search radius, the screen will zoom in on a location, and areas of that location will shake. The player will be prompted to press a button in order to reveal the hidden Pokémon. The process repeats for the remaining locations.
