A Goldenrod Opportunity (Japanese: コガネジム!スピード&パワー!? Kogane Gym! Speed & Power!?) is episode 158 of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on August 3, 2000 and in the United States on August 18, 2001.

Ash arrives in Goldenrod City and meets Whitney. After seeing some of the sights, he battles her in a deceptively easy Gym Battle.
