Release information

This card was reprinted in the Legendary Collection reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan. A non-holographic version of this card was present in that set's Turmoil theme deck. Unlike the Team Rocket set version, the reprint was not a secret card.

Trivia

  • This card was the first secret card (card number higher than set total) in a TCG set. It was also the first card that was released in the United States and elsewhere in the world before it was released in Japan, which it later would be in Neo Discovery.
  • The card's evolution box is light gray, not dark gray as opposed to other Pokémon with Dark in its name from the Team Rocket set. It appears this way even in the Legendary Collection print.
