Release information
This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it came with vol.3 of Pokémon Card Fan Club, released November 18 1997. The English version of the card was released in the August 2000 issue of Nintendo Power magazine.
Trivia
- Tempt's Japanese name is that of Captivate, a move that later appeared in Generation IV of the Pokémon games.
- A number of the English version of these cards were printed without their HP. Most of these error cards were destroyed, but some of them saw release.
- This card is essentially a reprint of Dark Persian from Team Rocket, the primary differences being the different artwork, and Tempt being called Fascinate on that card. The attacks have the exact same effect, and the Japanese versions of the cards referred to both attacks by the same name. The reason for the differing names on the English versions is unknown.
