Mounting a Coordinator Assault (Japanese: ヒカリ!コンテストデビュー!! Hikari! Contest Debut!!) is the eleventh episode of Diamond & Pearl. It was first broadcast in Japan on December 7, 2006.

Dawn is eager to participate in her first contest and meets Zoey, another girl, whom she instantly strikes a rivalry with. However, Ash's Aipom is also very eager to enter the contest, so Ash enters as well. Will Ash end up stealing Dawn's thunder?
