Trivia

  • The information for length was dropped from cards starting with the Expedition Base Set and was missing from cards until Diamond & Pearl, when it returned as height. This caused problems when trying to play this card alongside Pokémon printed without a length. It's recommended that this card be played only in decks that feature Pokémon from Neo Destiny and before and/or Diamond & Pearl and after. (Keep in mind that Pokémon LV.X and Pokémon with built-in items do not have the height field printed on their card.)
    • Otherwise, one will have to use an e-Reader to scan the short end of the card, which will show the length data for the Pokémon. This only applies for cards from the Expedition Base Set to EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua, and even then not all cards in those sets have dot-code strips with the length data. A copy of a Pokémon game where that specific Pokémon is registered as caught can also be used.

Origin

In the Generation I Pokémon games, Blaine's gym contains locked doors that can only be opened after the player either attempts a quiz or battles a trainer.
