Trivia
- Professor Oak's Pokémon Live Caster: Cubchoo
- The group running down a hallway while being chased by a boulder is a reference to the first Indiana Jones movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark. The statue of Venipede replaces the Fertility Idol. This is also the second time they've used it during the series, the first being Battling the Enemy Within!.
- Due to the use of flashbacks, every Pokémon belonging to the three main characters made an appearance in this episode, except for Ash's Palpitoad.
- This is sunglasses Krokorok's first appearance since its evolution in Dancing With the Ducklett Trio!, over 40 episodes ago (although it was supposed to appear again in at least one of the unaired episodes).
