Release information
In Japan, this card was available as an insert with the October 1997 issue of CoroCoro Comic. The English version was available through a Warner Bros. store campaign in conjunction with The Power of One in July 2000.
Trivia
- The card text on the top right of the Japanese card border reads: "special jumbo card". The English version has "Not for Play Use" printed on the back.
- The card text on the bottom of the Japanese card border features the CoroCoro logo and reads: "Monthly CoroCoro Comics: September issue supplement".
- The Japanese version does not detail the combined length and weight as with the English version. Instead it states "Legendary Bird Pokémon: Cool". This type of comment is common to all original Jumbo cards portraying Pokémon released between 1997 and 2002.
- This card was only released as a Jumbo card and was therefore not legal to use in tournaments or official events.
