Aira first appeared when she was talking to Jan. After their conversation, Jan rode off on his Gogoat, but not too long after, a Yveltal showed up and threatened to attack her. Jan noticing this turned back and then commanded his Talonflame to attack it. After Yveltal turned Talonflame to stone with Oblivion Wing, Yveltal went to turn Jan to stone as well. Aira jumped in as the attack was about to hit him and took the attack herself, turning her to stone and was left in that state.
