Errors
- In the Trainer's Choice portion of this episode, the viewer is asked to pick which of these three Pokémon would be the best choice to battle Camerupt: Beedrill, Nuzleaf, or Magcargo. The answer is revealed as Nuzleaf. While Nuzleaf, as a Template:Type2, would be effective against Camerupt's Template:Type2, it would be less effective on Camerupt's primary Template:Type2, and be at risk of high damage. In truth, none of the Pokémon would be effective battle choices, though Magcargo would suffer the least damage from Camerupt's attacks, due to its Rock and Template:Type2s.Then again, Magcargo also has a 4x weakness against Camerupt's Ground attacks.
- In one shot, one of Ash's thumbs is colored black, like his glove.
