Pokémon the Movie 2000 - The Power of One (Japanese: 幻のポケモンルギア爆誕 Maboroshi no Pokémon Lugia Bakutan, Legendary Pokémon Lugia: Explosive Birth, subtitled Revelation Lugia) is the 2nd Pocket Monsters movie, and 2nd of all Pokémon movies. It was first in Japanese theaters on July 17, 1999. It then made its way to North American theaters on July 21, 2000.

Summary

Jirarudan, a Collector of the world's wonders, is out to capture the three legendary bird Pokémon Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres to bring out the very rare Lugia. In doing so, the three legendaries are now in a catostrophic battle with one another, causing extreme weather conditions all over the world. Ash, Misty, and Tracey, including festival maiden Melody, must restore the balance of Fire, Ice, and Lightning before it's too late.
