Aaron's Beautifly (Japanese: リョウのアゲハント Ryou's Agehunt) was the first Pokémon obtained by Aaron when he was a child. As a Wurmple, it was voiced by Kiyotaka Furushima in Japanese.

Beautifly first appeared in a picture as a Wurmple in A Trainer and Child Reunion!. Aaron explains that Wurmple helped him climb down the tallest tree when he was younger and they became good friends since then. Aaron got angry at it though when they lost a battle, saying that it was too weak, and he left Wurmple at the park. Aaron regretted doing this and then went back to the park at night to see if Wurmple was still there, but it wasn't. Aaron still regrets doing this years later.

In the same episode, when Aaron and the others were in trouble near the tree where they met, it came to their rescue in its fully evolved form by using SolarBeam. They were unsure where the attack came from until Beautifly appeared. After looking at it, Aaron realized that it was his Wurmple. It then remained with Aaron and the rest of his Pokémon.

In Aiding the Enemy, Beautifly, along with Aaron and his Drapion, was seen again with Cynthia's Garchomp and Gastrodon on television where it lost against Gastrodon.
