Alan

Alan (Japanese: アツオ Atsuo) is a one-time character of the anime that appeared in Nosing 'Round The Mountain!. His Japanese voice actress is 沢海陽子 Yōko Sōmi and his English voice actor is Sean Schemmel.

He met with Ash and his friends while they were passing through Mt. Coronet. His dream was to evolve his Nosepass, which became true.

Alan appeared in a flashback in DP093 where it was revealed that he challenged Fantina. He lost the first match with his Nosepass but was able to defeat her with his newly evolved Probopass.

Trivia

Alan's Probopass is the only Pokémon to not disappear after using Explosion. However, the Probopass may have used Selfdestruct since Pokémon using Selfdestruct does not disappear in the anime.
