Last Known Ursaluna?

While perhaps not technically incorrect (simply because we haven't seen any others aside from ones we transfer), I think it is misleading for the page to say that Bloodmoon is the only known living Ursaluna as if that is what the game tells us. The way Perrin speaks of Ursaluna as a species is not as if there are no others, after all the reason she seeks Bloodmoon is because it is different from all other Ursaluna, not because it is the only known Ursaluna. She also says Ursaluna were not uncommon long ago, but that doesn't mean they are limited to one known individual. We also see with her Growlithe and the White-striped Basculin that the very idea some fans have that Hisuian pokemon are extinct in modern times as opposed to just rarer or living in different places is likely mistaken.

Im inclined to agree. That bit just reeks of speculation and/or misreading the text. Anzasquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk page) 05:55, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

Gender

Hey so I’ve noticed numerous characters in the game refer to Ursaluna as “he”. Does Ursaluna have a 100% male gender ratio? - unsigned comment from LucasG (talkcontribs)

No. Characters referring to a Pokemon with a pronoun doesn't indicate its gender ratio, the datamine says 50/50.--ForceFire 06:27, 5 February 2022 (UTC)

Ah ok, thanks LucasG (talk) 06:46, 5 February 2022 (UTC)

"Bloodmoon Ursaluna"?

Where in the games is the blood moon form called "Bloodmoon Ursaluna"? Because i checked the game's text files and it refers to the Ursaluna form as "Bloodmoon Beast", but no "Bloodmoon Ursaluna" specifically. Anzasquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk page) 11:53, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

Good point, it's actually just called Bloodmoon. Petrichor (talk) 13:09, 17 September 2023 (UTC)

Bloodmoon Ursaluna not evolving from Ursaring

“In the Kitakami region, it has a special form known as Bloodmoon Ursaluna. It is not known to evolve from any other Pokémon.”

I know this is just the standard thing to say, but it feels misleading. This is a special Ursaluna that migrated to Kitakami and survived there somehow by changing form. That means it DID evolve from an Ursaring prior to that. Just because we can only catch it fully-evolved already doesn’t mean “it’s not known to evolve from any other Pokémon.” It clearly did, at one point in time. I guess the idea here is "you cannot evolve your own Ursaring into Bloodmoon Ursaluna", but yeah, it could've been worded better. Anzasquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk page) 23:16, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

Second Trivia point about shiny Bloodmoon is either not true anymore or inconsistent

I have a shiny regular Ursaluna in Scarlet, and Bloodmoon Ursaluna is registered to my Kitakami pokedex, however shiny Bloodmoon Ursaluna is not viewable in this dex. I'm not sure if this trivia point used to be true and got patched or if it is inconsistent depending on origin/time deposited/whatever. -PancakeIdentity (talk) 06:16, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
