Move

I'm happy this was moved out of the Candy page, however, I think this page/list would be better moved to a page such as List of Pokémon by evolution family in Pokémon GO, or List of Pokémon by evolution family (Pokémon GO), much like List of Pokémon by evolution family (which this page highly resembles).--Wowy(토크) 00:39, 1 December 2018 (UTC)

Pokémon Images

Can we use the Pokémon images from Pokémon GO instead of the usual ones? Most other Pokémon GO based pages have that images. CrazyPikmin (talk) 09:49, 19 May 2022 (UTC)

The page uses the "lop/evo" evolution table template, which uses the sprite artworks. Not sure how we can replace them with the GO images without making a completely new template. Anzasquiddles (talk) 13:38, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
I'm making a version with the Pokémon GO images using MSP/GO in my Userspace, but I don't know how to do branched evolutions. CrazyPikmin (talk) 10:09, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

Candy Name Note

I previously added a note about how the Riolu family's candy is named after Lucario, and did not speculate that it is because Riolu is a baby Pokémon specifically because Togepi candy is named after Togepi, which is also a baby Pokémon. Either way, one of these exceptions should be mentioned. The current page says that the candy "shares its name with the first Pokémon of that family in the National Pokédex." If this is the rule that we use, then we should note the Riolu line as an exception to the rule, regardless of its pre-evolution being a baby Pokémon. If we change the rule to be "the first Pokémon in the evolution family in National Pokédex order that is not a baby Pokémon," then we should mention the Togepi family as an exception. I want to make sure that note is accurate, but I will not do it myself as clearly the notes in the edit summary are not always read, and I do not want to contribute to a potential edit war. (If we want to prepare for datamined information that is admittedly subject to change, then I would recommend the former, as the Toxel family has been datamined as using "Toxel candy; sourced from PokeMiners, select "Advanced" then click the box next to "Families," then compare "V0448_FAMILY_LUCARIO" to "V0848_FAMILY_TOXEL" with the standard being "V0001_FAMILY_BULBASAUR") MarioMiner (talk) 19:40, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

Replacing the tables

I made an alternative versions for them here. Which version is better? Mine doesn't have the family names, but it's less wide and it uses the Pokémon GO images. CrazyPikmin (My Edits) 09:56, 11 September 2023 (UTC)

It looks pretty good, although i'm kinda not a fan of all the empty cells for mons without an evolution line. But yea it looks alright. Anzasquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk page) 11:43, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
If you know a way to delete all empty cells in one go, do it. The Tyrogue and Eevee lines also need some work, but I don't know how to fix it. CrazyPikmin (My Edits) 11:54, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
