One facet of Mirror Herb not currently commented on is it's ability to, while held, allow an existing pokemon (NOT an egg) to "Inherit" an egg move from another pokemon in your party who possesses the move.

Example: In S/V Azumarill cannot receive belly drum via breeding by any non-azumarill parents. However, if you put Azumarill with an empty moveslot, and a Hariyama who knows belly drum into a party together, and have the Azumarill hold a Mirror Herb, after a minute or two, Azumarill will have Belly Drum added to it's moveset. But the main point is: how we should use this item in the pokemon egg moves section? Just simply put this item icon into the move that can only learn by this way? (current(?) example is in Deino) Chungkingpun (talk) 06:11, 29 January 2023 (UTC)

Another aspect of Mirror Herb that isn't mentioned - the Pokemon that *knows* the Egg Move must be of the opposite gender. I had a Female Dragonite with an empty move slot and a Female Dratini with Aqua Jet, and despite the page saying just requiring the move to be known in general, that isn't the case. The moment I brought in a male Azumarill, it worked immediately. I can provide proof if necessary.
