Take Out The Rival Onix!! (Japanese: ???) is the third chapter of the Pokémon Pocket Monsters manga. This is where Isamu Akai and his Clefairy fights the first Gym Leader, Brock.

Synopsis

When Isamu was about to enter the Gym, Kai Midorikawa and his Charmander was thrown out, wounded. Kai said that Brock's Pokémon was too strong, so that he didn't stand a chance. Brock shows his Pokémon, Onix, to Isamu and Clefairy, which causes Clefairy to flee. After Isamu found him and dragged him into the Gym, he found out about Brock's Pokémon collection. Among them, Clefairy's cousin Pikachu. Clefairy, enraged, fought Onix and defeated Onix by making him use Constrict on a pillar, before Clefairy finishes him off. Pikachu, happy to be released, discharges electricity, electrifying Isamu and Clefairy, much to Brock's amusement.
