Pokémon Card Game DPt: Galactic's Conquest (Japanese: ギンガの覇道 Galactic's Conquest) is the name given to the first expansion of cards from the Japanese series of cards, Pokémon Card Game DPt.
Information
Galactic's Conquest is the first expansion in the Pokémon Card Game DPt series and the first set based on Pokémon Platinum and, more specifically, Team Galactic.
The Pokémon featured in the set are not generally based on Pokémon owned by Team Galactic, but the set introduces a new type of Pokémon, SP Pokémon. SP Pokémon have an "SP" symbol in the bottom-left-hand corner of the illustration box and can seemingly vary depending on the theme of the expansion in which they appear. In Galactic's Conquest, SP Pokémon are represented as Pokémon G with the "G" at the end of a Pokémon's name made to symbolize the fact that it is a Galactic's Pokémon. All Pokémon G are Basic Pokémon and have an illustration of their owner in the bottom-right-hand corner of the illustration box, much like cards from Gym Heroes, Gym Challenge and Pokémon VS. The set includes 13 Pokémon G, two of which are Pokémon LV.X.
The set also carries on a tradition from Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky and includes three classic cards from the original sets: Scyther, Electabuzz and Hitmonchan. These cards pay homage to the Haymaker deck archetype, which dominated competitive play in the early years of the TCG.

Trivia
- The new prefix for the set derives from Diamond, Pearl and the chemical symbol for platinum (Pt). Unlike DP1, the set continues to use a set numbering system, which was re-introduced on the Japanese cards in Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky.
- The set includes Drapion LV.X, continuing a trend in which promotional LV.X cards are reprinted in the set released immediately after their promotional release. This was also the case with Lucario, Garchomp, Porygon-Z and Heatran.
- The set sees the return of Rainbow Energy for the first time since its 2006 print in EX Legend Maker. For the first time in Organized Play, it was unplayable in the 2007-08 Modified format. Rainbow Energy itself was initially released in the TCG expansion based on the first of the villainous teams, Team Rocket.
- Galactic's Conquest is the first set since Pokémon Card Game DP to be released alongside an Entry Pack rather than with a deck kit or two half decks, having been released alongside Entry Pack DPt.
