Release Information
This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it came with the July 2000 issue of CoroCoro comic. The English version of the card was available through the Pokémon League in June 2001.

- The Japanese version of this card features the Neo Discovery set symbol, indicating that it is a promotional addition to the Japanese set.
Origin
Leer is a move in the Pokémon games that Scizor can learn. Metal Pincer is similar to Metal Claw, also a move that Scizor can learn. The card's flavor text comes from Pokémon Silver.
