Synchronize (Japanese: シンクロ Synchro) is an ability that passes on status problems. Eleven Pokémon have this ability, all but one of them psychic type. It was introduced in Generation III. Synchronize will not pass on the Sleep or Frozen status conditions. Outside of battle, if the Pokémon with this ability is the lead, Synchronize increases the rate of encountering a wild Pokémon with the same nature.
Flavor Text: Passes on a burn, poison, or paralysis to the foe.
