#REDIRECT Pokémon Journeys: The Series

(Japanese: ポケットモンスター めざせポケモンマスター Pocket Monsters: Aim to Be a Pokémon Master) is an eleven-episodes mini-series of Pokémon Journeys: The Series focused on Ash and Pikachu. The series takes place shortly after the events of Pokemon Journeys.

The series was announced on December 16, 2022, after the airing of all 136 main series episodes of Pokémon Journeys. The episodes will be aired in Japan on a weekly basis, with the first episode being aired on January 13, 2023.

This is the final series to feature Ash and Pikachu as protagonists, as they will be replaced by Liko and Roy in the new anime series Pokémon (2023), set in the Paldea region. This series also marks the return of several of Ash's travel companions, such as Misty, Brock and Cilan. This is also the first time since Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl that Ash is seen rotating his current Pokémon party within the series on a regular basis.
