Trivia
- This is the first episode to be skipped since the unaired episode of the Advanced Generation series back in 2004. The following episode was also skipped. All three episodes were put on hold because of an earthquake that hit Japan.
- However, unlike the unaired AG episode, this two-parter was to supposed be important to the overall storyline while the other was a stand-alone episode.
- Scenes highly resembling the scenes seen in this two-parted episode's previews were later used in Meloetta and the Undersea Temple! during Team Rocket's "Operation Tempest".
