I suspect that different levels of the cave have different encounter rates. I am at the entrance by Shalour City and I have a disproportionate number of Carbink encounters, far higher than rare. My sample size isn't that large but this was the case with Victory Road until it got fixed. I don't have a guide book so I can't check myself. | |||

Roggenrola only in specific part
It seems to me the Roggenrola only (mostly?) appear in the little square of cave right by the Shalour City entrance, just to the left (right before the jump back to Route 11, the place where the scientist is hanging out). I just went hunting for Roggenrola to get some Everstones, and I literally did not get a single one anywhere else, but I ended up catching 6 of them right there on that little spot. Maybe the spot where you can catch them is a little bit bigger than just that? Could someone double check? - unsigned comment from Dada (talk • contribs)

I suspect that different levels of the cave have different encounter rates. I am at the entrance by Shalour City and I have a disproportionate number of Carbink encounters, far higher than rare. My sample size isn't that large but this was the case with Victory Road until it got fixed. I don't have a guide book so I can't check myself.
