This card was reprinted in the Base Set 2 reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan. This card was also reprinted in the EX Ruby & Sapphire and EX FireRed & LeafGreen sets with different artwork by K. Hoshiba; in EX Unseen Forces, EX Crystal Guardians, and Diamond & Pearl with another different artwork by Shin-ichi Yoshikawa; and in Majestic Dawn and Platinum with yet another different artwork by Ryo Ueda. The card has seen its fair share of tweaks since its introduction, first in EX Ruby & Sapphire to read as follows: Template:Trainer Text The comma after "opponent" returned for the EX Unseen Forces print, and "Basic Pokémon or Evolution card" was changed to "Pokémon" for the Diamond & Pearl print.
