Masakazu Fukuda (Japanese: 福田正和) is an illustrator who was primarily involved with character and graphic design with many game companies in the 1990s before becoming a freelance illustrator. He has been providing artwork for the Pokémon Trading Card Game since 2003.
Fukuda holds many artists in high regard and has several interests. He is a fan of mecha and admires the work of designer Hajime Katoki. Other favorites include manga artists Katsuhiro Otomo, Masamune Shirow and Akira Toriyama, as well as illustrators Jun Suemi and Takani Yoshiyuki, who designed the package art for many military model kits in the 1960s. In particular, he provided work for the Majestic Dawn set for booster packs as well as theme decks, Polar Frost, and Forest Force. His favorite Pokémon is Lugia.
