A Cool Couple (Japanese: エリートカップル Elite Couple) is a pair of Pokémon trainers that first debuted in the Generation III games. They are generally depicted as a pair of male and female Cooltrainers.
They use complementary Pokémon of opposite genders in Double Battles.
