Marley

Marley is not fond of talking due to worry about hurting others accidentally, and she says she clams up whenever she thinks about it. Although she says that she chooses her words carefully, she appears to have difficulties speaking, as she uses somewhat unorthodox wording. She is fond of Shaymin as it conveys gratitude without the use of words.

Erika

Erika is ladylike, and a teacher of flower-arranging. She is a quiet girl, but she's well-known in Celadon City. Erika only collects Pokémon if she considers them attractive, though her definition of attractive seems to include varieties only a botanist could love. She also tends to doze off quite a bit, but will become inspired after a good match.

Sabrina

Sabrina have posessed psychic powers ever since she was a child, when she accidentally bent a spoon. She dislikes battling, but will still battle challengers. She posesses foresight, but can't predict the future properly.

Arezu

Arezu is a friendly and somewhat exciteable warden who likes hairdressing. However, she feels a lot of responsibility as a warden, and as a result tries to solve problems by herself, demomstrated by the fact she didn't tell Adaman about that Lady Lilligant was in a frenzy and that she tried to make balms to calm her down. After the incident, she appeared to change.

Mai

Mai grew up with her partner, Munchlax, and the two were raised together as if they were siblings. She also considers Adaman to be her "little brother", whom she helped raise, although they are not related genetically. Her concept art also puts an Ursaring and Adaman's Leafeon together in this sibling tree, and a child in the Diamond clan claims she is their "littelest" sister, which seems to be supported by the concept art, which numbers all of the "siblings", but jumps up a number for Munchlax.

Unlike Marley, Mai is much less shy to talk and displays a somewhat laidback altitude. In the English version, she seems to somewhat dislike the Galaxy Team, saying that the player is not one of "the usual Galaxy buffoons" and says that she "will give [the Galaxy Team] that" for the Galaxy Hall, and often uses the expression "my, my" in the same version. She is often seen crossing her arms.

Mallow

Mallow is an energetic girl who loves cooking, but her sense of taste can be peculiar. She is good friends with Lana

Sophocles

Sophocles is good with mechanics, having invented various machines as well as making the Festival Plaza. He shares a close bond with his cousin, Molayne, however, he is also somewhat shy.

Professor Laventon

Professor Laventon is a well-mannered Pokémon researcher with a fondness for photography.

Early on, she appears to be a gentle and loving woman who merely wants to help hurt Pokémon. However, it gradually becomes clear that she has completely lost her sanity; she cryogenically froze several Pokémon and kept them in a room to "protect" them for all eternity, and got an obsession with Ultra Beasts after the loss of her husband. Her fixation lead her to use Nebby to open several Ultra wormholes to find Nihilego at the possible cost of Nebby's life.

Volo

Volo initially appears to be a curious, enthusiastic and friendly merchant, with an peculiar interest in the archeology of Hisui. His studies leads him to shirk his duties as a merchant, which Cogtia as noted by Cogita.

Eventually, his facination with myths is revealed to be due to the desire to meet Arceus in order to use it to create a new world, with said desire being all-consuming.

Commander Kamado, the boss of the Galaxy Team, can be a harsh leader at times, but the team members trust him deeply and know him to be reliable.

Captain Cyllene is the leader of the Galaxy Team’s Survey Corps. She is strict both with others and with herself, but she sees your potential and allows you to take a trial to join the Galaxy Team.

[Calaba] can be quite stubborn and doesn’t trust members of the Galaxy Team or the Diamond Clan. She also shows proficiency in making medicine.​

[Palina is] [a] warden and a member of the Pearl Clan who once competed against Irida in hopes of becoming the clan’s leader.[...]

[Melli is] [a] warden and member of the Diamond Clan who looks up to Adaman like an older brother. He puts on airs and is a tad quick to fight, but he cares passionately for his fellow clan members.​[...]

[Gaeric is] [a] warden and member of the Pearl Clan who constantly and steadfastly trains his muscles in Hisui’s cold, snowy areas. Irida looks up to him like a mentor. He seems to have doubts over whether it is necessary to quell the nobles’ frenzies.​

[Sabi is] [a] warden from the Diamond Clan who serves a special Hisuian Braviary. She is the youngest of all the wardens and glides around in the sky in Hisuian Braviary’s grip. She has a mysterious air about her and occasionally alludes to having clairvoyant abilities.

Adaman serves as the leader of the Diamond Clan and has Leafeon as his partner Pokémon.

This daring young man hates seeing time go to waste and likes to rush forward without worrying too much about particulars. This way of thinking puts him at odds with Irida, who leads the Pearl Clan, so the two are frequently seen fighting.

Irida serves as the leader of the Pearl Clan, and her partner Pokémon is Glaceon.

As a leader, she feels it is important to have the courage to face the vast Hisui region without quailing before it. Though she is suspicious of you when you first meet, she will come to trust you thanks to the help you provide in quelling the noble Pokémon.

Ginter is the head of the Ginkgo Guild. He might not look all that enthusiastic, but it’s his strong leadership that keeps the guild together. He’ll sell you rare items and special finds that he gets from various places.

Volo, one of the Ginkgo Guild’s merchants, is often to be found wandering the Hisui region. He has a tendency to cross paths with you no matter where you travel. He’s got a boundless sense of curiosity and is always interested in unusual finds and unusual people.
