Ampharos ex (Japanese: デンリュウex Denryu ex) is a Lightning-type Stage 2 Pokémon-ex card. It is part of the EX Dragon expansion.

When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Conductivity かんでん

As long as Ampharos ex is in play, whenever your opponent attaches an Energy card to his or her Pokémon from hand, put 1 damage counter on that Pokémon. You can't put more than 1 damage counter even if there is more than 1 Ampharos ex in play.

Gigavolt ギガボルト 40+

Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 40 damage plus 30 more damage. If tails, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed.

Trivia

• In the Conductivity Poké-BODY, "from hand" makes no grammatical sense. Given how the action is triggered by an opponent's action, "from hand" should really be "from his or her hand".
• The Conductivity Poké-BODY is almost identical to the Pokémon Power of the same name possessed by Neo Destiny's Dark Ampharos.
