This article is about a nameless glitch move nicknamed for the type it displays itself as. For the trainer class, see Cooltrainer.

Cooltrainer is a glitch move known by relatively few Glitch Pokémon, and, unusually for a glitch move, can be learned by a regular Pokémon. Initially, it has 0/13 PP, and can't gain any more by healing at a Pokémon Center. Rather, one must supply the Pokémon with a PP Up and an Ether/Elixer in order to be able to use the move. Its hexadecimal number is 00, and it is used to represent a blank space in the attack list, and isn't meant to be selected in battle. However, by having a Ditto Transform into a Pokémon with more than one move, and using the Select button to switch the top move with another, Ditto will be able to use the Cooltrainer move. When a Pokémon knows the Cooltrainer move, their entire attack list becomes invisible. When the Pokémon reaches a level where it can learn a new move, and it has four moves, including the Cooltrainer move, the game thinks the Pokémon only has three moves, and teaches it the new move automatically, deleting the Cooltrainer move in the process.
