Kabutops (Japanese: カブトプス Kabutops) is a Fighting-type Stage 2 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Fossil expansion.

Release information

This card was included in the Fossil expansion as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil card, first released in the Japanese Mystery of the Fossils expansion as a Holofoil card. The Non Holofoil print was later reprinted in the Legendary Collection expansion.

Trivia

Although this Pokémon is level 30, Kabuto does not evolve into Kabutops until level 40.

Origin

Absorb is a move in the Pokémon games that Kabutops can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
