Let's take a look at some of the exciting things you can do [[Days of the week|today]] in the main series games.
* The '''Red Gyarados''' is a significant Pokémon in the {{3v|Gold|Silver|Crystal}}, as well as the {{2v|HeartGold|SoulSilver}}. It was once a regular {{p|Gyarados}} that resided at the [[Lake of Rage]], and is stated that it became so enraged that its scales turned red.
* In {{game|Crystal}}, the move tutor is visiting [[Goldenrod City]].
* In the games, the {{player}} encounters the Red Gyarados while exploring the [[Lake of Rage]]. Once it is either caught, or defeated, the player will be able to enter the [[Team Rocket HQ]] hidden in the shop in [[Mahogany Town]].  
* In {{game|Diamond and Pearl|s}} and {{v|Platinum}}, [[Julia]] in [[Sunyshore City]] gives away a [[Downcast Ribbon]].  
* At the beginning of {{game2|Diamond|Pearl|Platinum}}, {{ga|Barry}} and the player hear about a Red Gyarados sighting on the news, and travel to [[Lake Verity]] hoping to find a similarly rare Pokémon.
* In {{game|Platinum}}, {{tc|Reporter}} Kinsey and {{tc|Cameraman}} Tevin appear in the [[Pokémon Center]] in [[Jubilife City]]. Also, {{tc|Guitarist}} Arturo appears in the Pokémon Center in [[Pastoria City]].  
* The Red Gyarados made its anime debut in ''[[EP235|Talkin' 'Bout an Evolution!]]'' where Team Rocket were conducting an experiment to draw out the Red Gyarados. In the end, [[Lance]] ended up catching it and promised to take care of it. It later appeared alongside Lance in ''[[AG097|Gaining Groudon]]'' and ''[[AG098|The Scuffle of Legends]]'' during the fight between {{p|Groudon}} and {{p|Kyogre}}.
* In {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver|s}}, at the [[Goldenrod Department Store]] Lottery, {{TM|57|Charge Beam}} is the top prize. You can also re-battle [[Misty]] at the [[Fighting Dojo]] any time during the day.
