This card was printed in the Neo Genesis, Pokémon VS, Expedition Base Set, EX FireRed & LeafGreen and EX Delta Species expansions with artwork by Keiji Kinebuchi. It was also reprinted in the unofficial English Tyranitar Half Deck for the 2001 Tropical Mega Battle. Later, it was released in the Diamond & Pearl and Majestic Dawn sets with different artwork by Shizurow.

Super Scoop Up was later reclassified in Japan as an Item card during the HeartGold & SoulSilver Series, though the English prints did not adopt this naming convention until the release of Black & White. Unleashed featured new artwork by Noriko Hotta. This card was released again in the Black & White expansion with new artwork by Daisuke Iwamoto, originating in the Japanese Beginning Set.
