==Effect==
When the Pokémon successfully lands an attack on the target, it has a chance of lowering the target's {{stat|Special Defense|Sp. Def}} by one stat rank. After the target's Sp. Def is lowered, the user will have its Sp. Def raised by one stat rank. The skill can range from Mind Leech 1 to Mind Leech 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Mind Leech 9 will always lower the target's Sp. Def by one stat rank and raise the user's by the same amount. Currently, only Mind Leech 9 is available on scoutable [[sync pair]]s. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including [[File:Buddy Move Icon Masters.png|20px|link=]] [[buddy move]]s, but not [[sync move]]s or [[File:Dynamax icon.png|20px|link=]] [[Max Move|max moves]].
