==Effect==
When the [[sync pair]] successfully uses a move, the user has a chance of raising the user's {{stat|Attack}} by two stat ranks and [[Critical hit|critical-hit]] rate by one stat rank. The skill can range from Honing Hit 1 to Honing Hit 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a greater chance of activation. Honing Hit 9 will always raise the user's Attack by two stat ranks and critical-hit rate by one stat rank. Currently, only Honing Hit 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to both the Trainer's and the Pokémon's moves, including [[File:Buddy Move Icon Masters.png|20px|link=]] [[buddy move]]s, but not [[sync move]]s or [[File:Dynamax icon.png|20px|link=]] [[Max Move|max move]]s.
