By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Link templates

Allow me to direct you to the site's list of link templates, because you cannot link Pokémon like that, for starters. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 06:53, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

There's also no need to keep linking a word once it's mentioned. Once is more than enough. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 07:20, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
You're still doing it. Please review the list of link templates. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 07:43, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
Also, please don't keep linking words once they're mentioned. Once is more than enough. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 23:51, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
Once again, link an article once per section. There's no need to link an article every time it shows up in another article, regardless of sections. Over-linking articles just makes the article look untidy. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:49, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
It looks like you still need to be told how to link articles properly. Please consult with the list of link templates that I provided you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:55, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Your edits

There's no need to split paragraphs by the very sentence. If entries are too small, sometimes a merge is necessary to make sure they don't look underdeveloped individually. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 06:13, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:48, 21 August 2020 (UTC)

Once again, please try using the preview button. It's extremely helpful for cutting down on edits like these. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 07:05, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
Please remember to use the preview button. Tiddlywinks (talk) 04:09, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

Force Preview

Hello there, since you have ignored your warning about not using the preview button, you have been placed in Force Preview. This means that you must preview your edits before saving them to ensure that they look fine. Also, please do not ignore your talk page messages, when someone asks you to stop doing something, please heed their messages as it would likely avoid you from getting in trouble. Thank you.--ForceFire 07:51, 25 August 2020 (UTC)

Short block

It is not acceptable to copy and paste a table from one page into another and save it just so you can incrementally edit it like this. To be blunt, YOU NEED TO USE THE PREVIEW BUTTON.

You've been informed several times already and you're even in force-preview. Previewing really shouldn't be that hard. Don't save something that's completely riddled with errors. This current block is short mainly to get your attention, since you completely ignored others expressing concern about and removing your edits. If you exhibit such behavior again in the future, you should expect a more substantial block.

Adding quotes

Be aware that there are text dumps that allow all quotes belonging to a certain character to be added at once, instead of in smaller batches. Abcboy (talkcontribs) has links to text dumps on his user page. Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 08:41, 20 December 2020 (UTC)

Tense

Please be aware that a plot or character description should follow a consistent pattern. In most cases, a past tense is preferred. Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 16:25, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

Nevermind. It was actually Vulcanos (talkcontribs) who had edited Allister's manga section with inconsistent tenses. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:21, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

Anime headers

There does not need to be a header for the main anime if it is the only series the section focuses on. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:29, 14 September 2021 (UTC)

Thank for helping keep the manga character history sections up-to-date. However, please keep these in mind when summarizing events.

1) keep the summaries concise. They don't have to be so wordy. If something can be described in one sentence instead of five, then choose the first option.
2) keep the summaries condensed. Pokespe is not episodic like the anime; most chapters lead into the next. As such, there's little reason to summarize each chapter individually. Try combining them into one long (but not too long) summary covering about two-three chapters each.
3) only mention important events. Again, this is a story-driven series. So, if a character's only contribution to a chapter is "they appeared", then it's best to just ignore it unless it's plot-related.

Thank you. Ataro (talk) 18:55, 20 September 2022 (UTC)

Magnolia VA

I see you've added Mary O'Brady as Magnolia's English VA, do you have a source?--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 16:28, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
